The first Wudang Cuipi Qingnian Fitness Challenges were held on April 27. Without an age limit, the event attracted many participants and not only ignited a passion for fitness in more people, but also emphasized the importance of personal health.
Cuipi Qingnian is a recent internet slang term referring to young people who are physically less-than-healthy and prone to illness.
The challenges consisted of four activities, each filled with fun challenges: strength, balance, and perseverance.
In the first activity, men had to lift a 10-kilogram fitness water bottle, while women had to balance the water bottle for 10 seconds. The second activity required participants to balance on one leg on a stability ball and pick up items from the ground, testing their coordination and stability. Next was the daunting task of lifting a 100-kg dumbbell, which not only demanded strength but also perseverance. Surprisingly, many participants successfully rose to the challenge, showcasing their hidden strength among the crowd. The last activity was a one-minute push-up challenge to build core strength, with men doing 50 reps per set and women doing 30.
