Country walk deepens people's understanding of village in Wudang

The 2024 Country Walk Themed Series was launched in Xiaba village, Wudang district in Guiyang, on April 27.

The hiking route started from the village's Xiadashan Square, passed through the Daydream Camping Base and Zhongzhai, and ended at Zhongzhai Square. The route integrated picking, health preservation, entertainment, and ethnic culture, connecting the natural scenery and cultural landscapes of Xiaba.

During the hike, everyone enjoyed an exciting Huagun dance performance at the opening ceremony in Xiadashan Square, witnessed a music concert at the camping base, participated in a garbage sorting activity at Zhongzhai, and appreciated a local ethnic song and dance show at Zhongzhai Square.

After the hike, everyone also participated in making and tasting "Huami" sticky rice cakes, experienced Bouyei bamboo pole dancing and batik embroidery, watched calligraphy performances, partook in a long-table feast, and more.

The event was not only a special way to enjoy ecotourism, leisure, and sports, but also an excellent opportunity to experience intangible cultural heritage, rural landscapes, and ethnic customs in Xiaba village.
