Wudang holds conference to promote project construction, investment attraction in 2024

Wudang held the 2024 Promotional Conference for Project Construction, Investment Attraction and Business Environment on March 4.

The conference focused on the high-quality development of the private economy and the construction of the business environment and saw two deputy heads of the district give reports on the district's 2023 business environment work and 2024 work plan as well as 2023 industrial investment promotion work and 2024 work plan.

Additionally, a total of 51 project agreements were signed at the conference, with a total investment of 6.71 billion yuan ($933.50 million). The projects focus on fields such as medical technology, cosmetics, and smart technology.

Wang Mingming, the Secretary of the CPC Wudang District Committee, emphasized the need to step work on projects and promote the early signing of targeted projects, early commencement of projects in the pipeline, and early completion of ongoing projects.

It is necessary to plan investment around the district's major and special industries, focus on the cultivation of industrial enterprises above a designated size, plan and attract more high-quality projects, and cultivate new economic development momentum.

The district will focus on nurturing and strengthening market entities, striving to increase quantity, improve structure, enhance quality, and boost efficiency, thus accelerating the rapid growth of market entities to promote economic expansion and improvement in quality.

Moreover, efforts will be made to improve the business environment in order to enhance the sense of satisfaction among enterprises and entrepreneurs.
