Since the start of the renovation work on old residential areas, Wudang district in Guiyang has greatly improved 50 such communities, benefiting over 6,400 households.

The renovation and upgrading of supporting infrastructure and public facilities in these communities have greatly improved residents' living environment and quality.

Taking Jinjiangyuan Residential Community as an example, the renovation work focused on three respects: stairwells, the environment, and general management.

Regarding the stairwells, the work included clearing obstacles that hindered passage and affected fire safety regulations, reorganizing the electric pipelines, renovating damaged handrails, and adding wheelchair-accessible ramps.

In order to improve the infrastructure and environment, efforts were made to renovate 1,760 meters of water supply and drainage pipelines, 700 meters of power supply pipelines, replace seven fire hydrants, install two additional fire hydrants and 600 meters of fire pipelines, and add 45 new surveillance devices and 63 new parking spaces.

About 200 square meters of buildings were removed, while around 500 square meters of green space were added to the community.

Additionally, one new health service station and one resident comprehensive service center were established.

Jinjiangyuan also signed a mutual assistance agreement with Dacheng Construction Development Co, providing residents with more efficient, convenient, and reliable property services.

At the same time, representatives of the residents have participated in the management and maintenance of the community, serving as a bridge for better communication between the residents and the property company.
