As of May, Wudang district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, had become home to six new excellent and strong enterprises, and over 3.53 billion yuan ($493.14 million) was spent on newly-introduced industries, 41.5 percent of the annual target.
Since the start of this year, Wudang district has attached great importance to investment promotional work. The district has formed delegations to attract investment 35 times and carried out exchanges with 105 enterprises.
Meanwhile, the district has actively participated in exhibitions such as the Health Industry Expo and 2023 Big Data Expo to promote investment.
It has also leveraged the Sinopharm West Medical Industrial Park to attract commercial and trade enterprises and production enterprises to promote the development of the pharmaceutical industry.
To date, Wudang has signed 50 projects worth 8.08 billion yuan into effect.
To further investment promotion, efforts have been made to improve the guarantee mechanism to protect the rights and interests of investors and provide services and support policies to help enterprises set up operations and grow.
