On May 9, a signing ceremony for six projects, worth a total investment of 1.28 billion yuan ($180.48 million), was held in Qingzhen city of Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The six projects include the food-grade aluminum foil production project in Qingzhen, the integrated wind-solar-hydrogen storage demonstration project, the construction project for a high-purity aluminum wire production base, a high-alumina grinding balls (bricks) production project, the construction project of a characteristic forestry industrial base, and the artificial intelligence data industrial base-data annotation project.

Among these six projects, four are related to the aluminum and aluminum processing industry. Qingzhen boasts abundant bauxite resources, which are the raw material used to make aluminum. The city's bauxite reserves account for over 10 percent of the national total and over 60 percent of the provincial total.

Aluminum and aluminum processing are the leading industries in the city. Currently, Qingzhen is leveraging its advantages in location, resources, energy, transportation, and production to continuously improve its entire industrial chain. The signing and implementation of these projects will further help expand and strengthen the aluminum and aluminum processing industry.

"By investing and establishing businesses in Qingzhen and leveraging its strong resource advantages, we are confident that we will achieve even greater development outcomes," said a representative of a company participating in the signing ceremony.
