Nanming inks agreements for 2 projects

A provincial industry transfer and development matchmaking activity was recently launched in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province. During the event, Nanming district signed investment cooperation agreements with Shanghai Ziqilin Enterprise Management Co and ECOCHIP Communication Technology (Shenzhen) Co, with a total investment of 2.15 billion yuan ($303.15 million).

The agreement with Shanghai Ziqilin Enterprise Management Co was for the district's new optoelectronic display industrial chain project. The two parties will invest 2 billion yuan in the Nanming Smart Manufacturing Industrial Park to establish production lines for strip lights, semiconductor devices, new display equipment, and other optoelectronic products.

The project is expected to achieve a cumulative industrial output value of at least 16.4 billion yuan and comprehensive tax revenue of at least 820 million yuan within five years of becoming operational.

With ECOCHIP Communication Technology (Shenzhen) Co, Nanming signed an agreement for a 5G communication chip production and manufacturing research and development project, with an investment of 150 million yuan. The project will promote the further clustering of industries such as chips and integrated circuits.

Next, Nanming district will work to bring in a number of distinct upstream and downstream enterprises.
