Gui'an sprints for good Q1 results

Riding on the wave of its successful development situation in 2023, Gui'an New Area in Southwest China's Guizhou province has been working at full capacity in order to achieve a good start to the year.

This year, Gui'an has commenced 14 new major projects. Additionally, all large-scale industrial enterprises and ongoing industrial projects in Gui'an have achieved a 100-percent resumption of work and production after the Spring Festival.

This is thanks to the support given by the area's industrial and information technology bureau. This support includes labor, electricity, and energy guarantees.

"At the beginning of the year, we explained policies to enterprises in collaboration with various industry regulatory authorities," said an official from the bureau. "At present, the production situation of industrial enterprises in Gui'an is stable and improving," the official continued.

Gui'an's power supply bureau conducted extensive visits to local enterprises after the New Year. It also initiated the construction of major engineering projects, and provided assistance for rural spring plowing and irrigation work.

Furthermore, in order to further improve its business environment, Gui'an held the 2024 government service work conference on Feb 26. This event aimed to build a more transparent, honest, efficient, and service-oriented government system that will support the high-quality development of Gui'an New Area.

Zhang Xiaogang, director of the new area's administrative approval bureau, stated that in 2024, efforts will be made to promote government services with high standards.
