Guizhou PIX Moving Technology Co, based in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, has signed an agreement with the American smart retail company Robomart. The two sides will collaborate in the fields of unmanned convenience stores, fresh food stores, and cafes. The first batch of unmanned retail vehicles are set to operate in California.

According to the cooperation agreement, PIX Moving will provide unmanned vehicle support for various types of Robomart stores, helping the company to realize several unmanned scenarios and providing more diverse and novel forms of brand promotion.

Robomart's autonomously operated smart stores are equipped with a proprietary checkout-free system, temperature-controlled compartments, sensors for autonomous operation, and external cameras to enhance security. Its unique operating model eliminates a series of cumbersome processes such as ordering, pick-up, packaging, and queuing for checkout.

"In the US retail sector, there are currently three major issues: labor shortages, high costs, and high turnover rates. We predict that intelligent application will become an irreversible trend in the US market. PIX Moving's capabilities in customizing and manufacturing unmanned vehicles are unique. This collaboration will enable us to expand our product line and redefine the convenience and accessibility of the retail sector," said Ali Ahmed, co-founder and CEO of Robomart.
