Investment promotion teams bring 38.36b yuan of investment

Gui'an New Area in Southwest China's Guizhou province has formed eight investment promotion teams, and by Dec 20, 2023, these teams had facilitated the signing of 56 cooperation agreements worth a combined total of 38.36 billion yuan ($5.34 billion).

The teams went out of Guizhou on 75 separate occasions to visit 285 enterprises. They also invited some 650 companies to research the new area. Currently, 76 projects are under negotiation, involving 64.55 billion yuan in potential investment.

The eight investment promotion teams were assigned to take charge of promoting business funds, agriculture, culture and tourism, data centers and software services, new energy, advanced equipment manufacturing, electronic information, building and real estate, as well as trading and services.

They focus on several aspects of business promotion, such as discovery, advancement, negotiation, evaluation, decision making, signing, and construction of projects.

Statistics show that in 2023, the investment promotion teams promoted four funds, with a total fund scale of 15 billion yuan, to register in Gui'an.
