A training session for Guizhou business promotion teams in Guangdong province was held on Dec 18-20 in Huizhou city of Guangdong.
Nearly 200 business and investment promotion cadres participated in the session, which focused on major project attraction, business negotiation skills, and investment promotion activities in terms of industries and capital.
This training session targeted the practical aspects of investment promotion in Guizhou. Carefully designed training courses were conducted, and experts and professors with a solid theoretical foundation and extensive practical experience were invited from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. They delivered comprehensive and accessible lectures on how to effectively undertake industrial transfers and enhance an enterprise's investment promotion capabilities.
"The main reasons for the relocation of manufacturing industries from Shenzhen are its rising comprehensive business costs, the expansion needs of enterprises, and the attraction of investment from other cities," said Xu He, executive vice president of the Shenzhen International Chamber of Commerce. Xu provided a comprehensive analysis of Shenzhen's advanced practices in attracting large, excellent, and high-quality businesses as part of its efforts to build a new development pattern.
Sun Wei, a visiting professor at the Research Institute of Tsinghua University in Shenzhen, provided in-depth insights into the new changes and trends in the investment promotion sector. Sun went further to explain what government departments should pay attention to regarding investment promotion, as well as what types of resources are the most attractive to enterprises.
