The China International Import Expo (CIIE) unfolded in East China's Shanghai from Nov 5-10, drawing the participation of government officials from the Guian Comprehensive Bonded Zone (CBZ). During the event, cooperation contracts were signed with Laos and Belarus, affirming an effort to jointly contribute to the Belt and Road Initiative and seize development opportunities.

Participation in expositions and exhibitions stands as a key strategy employed by the CBZ to promote business and investment. Throughout the first three quarters of the year, government officials conducted investment attraction campaigns outside Guizhou, visiting locations such as Cambodia, Chengdu, Shenzhen, and Shanghai on 10 occasions.

Utilizing national, provincial, and municipal mainstream media, as well as the CBZ's WeChat account, the zone has actively shared its business information, enhancing its social influence. Additionally, it has supported local enterprises in expanding their brands and market presence through major platforms like the Big Data Expo and CIIE.

From January to September, the CBZ successfully inked 27 investment projects, totaling 5.02 billion yuan ($699.29 million), and achieved 7.13 billion yuan in exports and imports, reflecting a notable surge of 33.29 percent.
