Wudang district holds fair to attract investment

Wudang district in Guiyang, Guizhou province, held a fair on Sept 28 to attract investments and introduce the district's investment environment, investment layout and major industries.

The fair focused on eight industries, including advanced equipment manufacturing, the digital sector, mid- and high-end commerce services, new materials, medicine, mid- and high-end consumer goods manufacturing, eco-foods and the integration of the agriculture, culture, commerce and tourism industries.

The event was part of the district's drive to seek high-quality development. At present, Wudang has been striving to improve its social governance, boost its massive health industry, revitalize its rural areas and develop into a core area of eastern Guiyang's industrial clusters.

The district will seize the opportunities brought by the development of Guiyang and Guian New Area and use its advantages in industrial transfer, resource allocation and economic hinterland expansion to drive innovation and develop industrial clusters.
