Nanming district in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, signed a landmark cooperation agreement on July 7 with the Chengdu Association of Building Economy Promotion, or CABEP -- a think tank for building economy's development -- according to district officials.
They said the accord targets further joint work on expanding the local building economy and improving the levels of building economy's services in the district.
Officials from the district awarded letters of appointment to two experts from CABEP at the signing ceremony.
According to district officials, the agreement points the way forward for the rapid and high-quality development of Nanming's building economy.
They added that Nanming will take advantage of the opportunities presented by China's overall plan for New Land-Sea Corridor.
The district will actively formulate relevant standards for commercial buildings and build an expert think tank for the rapid development of its building economy.
In particular, the district will actively explore developing its urban areas to provide a blueprint for developing Guiyang's urban areas.
