Yunguan Cold Chain is accelerating its expansion, with plans to create a new center in Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone that integrates multiple business formats, promoting the high-quality development of the regional economy and cold chain industry.
Yunguan Cold Chain has rooted itself in Shuanglong for over 10 years, and has been deeply cultivating the frozen goods market in Guizhou. It has gathered 170 merchants with a cold storage capacity of 60,000 cubic meters, becoming one of the top three enterprises in Guizhou's cold chain industry.
The renovation will greatly increase the size of Yunguan Cold Chain's food trading center. The frozen food market will cover an area of 20,000 square meters and the fresh agricultural product market will cover an area of 8,000 sq m, with more than 500 merchants expected to set up operations. The capacity of the low-temperature refrigeration warehouse will increase from the current 60,000 cu m to 80,000 cu m, with an average storage capacity of over 50,000 metric tons, and the annual transaction volume is expected to exceed 1 billion yuan ($144.45 million).
"The Yunguan Cold Chain is close to Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport and Guiyang High-speed Railway Station, and it takes less than 10 minutes to drive to the old urban area. The transportation advantage is very obvious," said a representative of Guizhou Yunkai Investment Co. "Yunguan Cold Chain will graft this platform resource to provide Guiyang citizens with fresher and more affordable seafood."
