The distributed photovoltaic project at the Bokai Pharmaceutical Logistics Park in Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone marked a significant milestone on Nov 13 by achieving full-capacity grid connection.
The project, which Guiyang Mining Energy Development Co independently invested in and constructed, is critical for the company in 2024.

It covers a roof area of 38,000 square meters, has a 4.43-megawatt peak (MWp) installed capacity, and received a total investment of 16.02 million yuan ($2.24 million). It aims to harness the abundant solar energy resources of the Shuanglong zone.
By converting solar energy into safe, green, clean, and efficient electricity, the project alleviates the power supply pressure within the logistics park and feeds surplus electricity back into the Shuanglong zone's internal power network system.
The project generates approximately 3.7 million kilowatt hours annually and is expected to save 1,122 metric tons of standard coal. It will also reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 3,075 tons, sulfur dioxide emissions by around 309 kilograms, and nitrogen oxide emissions by approximately 496 kg.
It will minimize ash and smoke emissions, conserve water, reduce wastewater discharge, and significantly enhance energy efficiency and emission reduction.
The commission of the project will contribute positively to Guiyang's carbon peaking and neutrality goals.
