YTO Express Guizhou Smart Innovation Park was officially put into operation in the Logistics Park located in Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone, Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Nov 22. The southwest headquarters and aviation hub of YTO Express were built here.
It is reported that YTO Express has been rated as a national 5A logistics enterprise and is a multinational company with international influence.
The newly completed park covers an area of 177,700 square meters, integrating YTO's southwest operation management headquarters, the air and land intermodal logistics center, the Internet of Things science and innovation center, the cross-border e-commerce exhibition and trading center, and the shared customer service center. The investment for the project totals 602 million yuan ($84 million).
YTO Express introduced seven sets of automatic express sorting equipment which can increase the daily average output from 1 million pieces to 2.5 million pieces. This will greatly improve efficiency in Guizhou and even Southwest China, as well as reduce logistics transportation costs.
"The reason why YTO park was built here is because Shuanglong zone boasts a superior location, a dense road network, complete supporting facilities and a solid industrial foundation," Shao Yangchun, general manager of Guizhou YTO Express Co, said.
Next, YTO will build an industrial chain of "internet + express + logistics" to further improve its logistics system and further help the province's rural vitalization efforts.
