Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport is the first smart and efficient airport in Southwest China's Guizhou province.
In December last year, the airport's T3 terminal officially opened, which will be able to serve 30 million passengers per year by 2025.
Relying on information technologies such as big data, cloud computing, internet of things, and artificial intelligence, the terminal provides passengers with a better travel experience.

The automatic gates in the terminal can check passengers' health codes, itinerary codes, location codes, nucleic acid test certificates, vaccination status and temperature. If a passenger with a yellow code is encountered, the gate will automatically sound an alarm.
Passengers usually have to visit the check-in counter to register and check in their luggage when they fly, an often-time-consuming process. Luckily, T3 terminal has found a solution.
At the self-service check-in area, 12 self-service check-in devices are neatly arranged. Passengers can print their boarding passes and check in their luggage by scanning their ID cards. The whole process takes just 30 seconds.

Also, two integrated smart security inspection channels have been built in channels 50 and 51 of the T3 terminal building, which has realized passenger self-service basket pick-up, information extraction, binding of passenger information and security check information, and automatic basket return.
Moving forward, the T3 terminal will strive to improve the operating efficiency of various smart projects and further enhance the smart experience for passengers.
