Qingzhen to advance public health development from 2026-30

Qingzhen city in Guiyang will continue to deepen the reform of the healthcare system during the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30) period, focusing on the goal of building a "Healthy Qingzhen" and aiming for new breakthroughs in four key areas.

To enhance the quality of service systems, a series of projects will be implemented by addressing weaknesses in healthcare services, including the renewal of medical facilities and equipment as well as the upgrading and renovation of healthcare institutions, to improve both the hardware and software standards of medical institutions.

To empower digitalization, efforts will be made to advance the application of large artificial intelligence (AI) medical models, thoroughly integrate AI technology into primary healthcare settings, and provide practical support for building an "AI+healthcare" system.

The city will also enhance county-level hospitals' ability to treat severe and critical illnesses, while strengthening the recruitment and training of medical professionals. Healthcare personnel will be encouraged to pursue higher education, achieve professional title promotion, and engage in further training.

Moreover, to expand and enhance public services, initiatives will include the construction of Qingzhen's childcare service system, improvement of the fertility support policy framework with expanded coverage of childcare subsidies, and strengthening of integrated disease prevention and management at the community level.
