Three districts in Guiyang rank among China's top 100

The Economic Daily recently released the research results of the 2024 China small and medium-sized cities' high-quality development index.

Nanming district, Yunyan district and Wudang district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, have topped the national list of the top 100 districts due to their outstanding performances in terms of comprehensive strength, green development, and investment potential.

This showcases Guiyang's significant achievements in promoting regional high-quality development.

Among 2024's top 100 districts in China for comprehensive strength, Nanming ranked 83rd. This achievement signifies Nanming's comprehensive development in economic growth, innovation, natural environment, livelihood improvement, and urban-rural governance, demonstrating regional development coordination and sustainability.

Among 2024's top 100 districts in China for green development, Nanming ranked 73rd, Yunyan ranked 84th, and Wudang ranked 94th. This honor reflects the exceptional performances of the three districts in key indicators such as resource conservation, green consumption, pollution control, and environmental quality, showcasing Guiyang's determination and practical results in ecological civilization construction.

Among 2024's top 100 districts in China for investment potential, Nanming ranked 48th and Yunyan ranked 60th.
