The Four-City Innovation Platform Launching event was recently held in Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area, Southwest China's Guizhou province.
The Four-City regions are the Guizhou Science City, the Guiyang Big Data and Scientific Innovation City, the Huaxi University City, and the Qingzhen Vocational Education City.
This initiative aims to drive unified development across the Four-City regions, energizing high-quality growth.
More than 200 representatives from the regions' management committees, universities, research institutions, key enterprises, and innovation incubators attended the event. They presented on shared innovation platforms such as the Scientific Inspection and Testing Platform, University and Enterprise Talent and Research Resource Platform, Huaxi University City Innovation Service Capacity, and Digital Human Resources Service Platform.
In a show of collaboration, the service committees of the four cities signed the Four Cities Science and Innovation Public Service Platform Cooperation Framework Agreement. This agreement promotes resource sharing, complementary strengths, and mutual development, lowering innovation costs for small and medium enterprises while increasing efficiency. The initiative is set to boost the region's industrial competitiveness by establishing a leading public technology service brand, contributing to Guiyang, Gui'an, and Guizhou's broader economic goals.
Guests also experienced a VR tour of the Guizhou Science City's Zhigu Lake project, which provided an immersive look at the city, where technology and innovation are seamlessly woven into the region's future.
