Big Data Expo 2024 to shine spotlight on tech achievements

Final preparations are being ramped up for the upcoming Big Data Expo 2024 – to be hosted in late August in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – when a series of leading technological achievements in big data will be released.

In the run-up to this year's edition, the organizers started collecting leading technological achievements from May 27.

The ongoing collection effort involves two categories – the solicitation of leading sci-tech achievements and the collection of achievements from independent enterprises.

The gathering of leading sci-tech achievements is targeting business entities and various bodies worldwide – including enterprises, universities, research institutions and industry organizations.

The organizers are seeking out the most cutting-edge and disruptive technological achievements.

Major scientific discoveries and theoretical achievements in areas such as artificial intelligence large models, big data, blockchain, cloud computing, 5G, the internet, the internet of things and data security are being included in the selection process.

The collection of independent enterprise achievements is targeting leading companies in the big data industry. The desired content encompasses comprehensive results achieved through the use of frontier technologies in the above fields.

This area of the collection, however, is focusing on achievements that have significant influence and economic benefits.

An applicant may submit multiple achievements for the leading technological achievements collecting in big data, but each achievement can only be submitted for one category of achievement.

The deadline for submitting leading sci-tech achievements is 12:00 pm (Beijing time) on July 2, while the deadline for submitting independent enterprise achievements is 12:00 pm (Beijing time) on July 31.

Eligible applicants can fill out and submit their application materials in the Big Data Expo Release column under the Technology Cloud section on the Guishangyi Platform website.

During the Big Data Expo 2024, the results of the selected leading technological achievements in big data will be released. Those in charge of the selected entities will be invited to attend the expo and will have the opportunity to deliver a speech there.
