2 Guiyang sci-tech projects approved

Two sci-tech projects submitted by PowerChina Guiyang Engineering Co in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, have recently been approved by the Guizhou Provincial Department of Science and Technology.

The two projects are the "Guizhou Province International Sci-tech Cooperation Base for Green Prefabricated Building Industrialization under the Belt and Road Initiative" and the "Guizhou Province Talent Team for International Prefabricated Building Technology Innovation".

It is reported that the "Guizhou Province International Sci-tech Cooperation Base for Green Prefabricated Building Industrialization under the Belt and Road Initiative" project aims to promote the development of a new type of building industrialization industry and a green building materials sector in countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative as well as in Guizhou province.

On the other hand, the "Guizhou Province Talent Team for International Prefabricated Building Technology Innovation" project focuses on the development and innovation of prefabricated building technology.

The project actively collaborates with Chinese and foreign research institutions and universities to create an innovative system that effectively integrates production, education, research, and application. It utilizes Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology to streamline the entire prefabricated building industry chain.

In recent years, PowerChina Guiyang Engineering Co has placed sci-tech innovation as its core driving force and has actively expanded strategic emerging industries as they relate to overseas prefabricated buildings.

Sci-tech innovation has strongly supported the company's market development and production. Its technological innovations have been applied to prefabricated building projects such as the Saudi Arabia Affordable Housing Project and the Iraq Demonstration School Project, among other overseas projects.

Moving forwards, the company will promote sci-tech cooperation and exchange between Guizhou province and countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative. It will gradually establish a repository of intellectual property rights for green prefabricated buildings, thereby supporting the development of new building industrialization industries and green building materials.
