Guizhou Xiaohei Technology Co in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, was established in 2017. In recent years, it has developed the "Heli Villages" WeChat applet, which facilitates the digitization of rural governance.

Users simply upload discovered issues in villages to the applet, and relevant personnel from the village committees will receive a notification on their mobile phones. They then communicate with relevant government departments to resolve the issues.

In 2023, the company officially upgraded the applet into a comprehensive service platform, which includes modules such as rural domestic waste collection, sewage treatment, and traditional villages. Currently, it covers 88 counties and districts in Guizhou.

"The platform is based on rural governance and promotes sustainable rural development," said Wang Qingze, general manager of Xiaohei Technology.

In regard to rural governance, Xiaohei Technology has developed China's first provincial-level monitoring platform for village-level domestic waste collection, providing the real-time dynamic monitoring of automated domestic waste collection in rural areas.

At the same time, the platform has completed the development of a monitoring module for town-level domestic sewage treatment. The module has integrated sewage pipeline information collection, video surveillance, water quality monitoring, issue management, and other services, resulting in an efficient online monitoring and management system.

In addition, the platform has established China's first digital museum on traditional villages. It operates synchronously on multiple terminals and platforms, aiding in the digital preservation, display, and promotion of traditional village culture.
