Guiyang holds sci-tech innovation event for youth

The Guiyang Youth Sci-tech Innovation Competition took place on Jan 6, drawing in over 240 participants from over 30 primary and secondary schools in Guiyang.

The theme of this competition was "Innovation, Experience, Growth". Following the requirements of the National Youth Sci-tech Innovation Competition, the Guiyang competition included youth sci-tech innovation projects (divided into primary and secondary school groups), as well as sci-tech instructors' educational innovation projects.

In this competition, the youth sci-tech innovation projects covered eight categories, including material science, life science, earth science, chemistry, behavior and social science, mathematics, physics and astronomy, computer science, as well as information technology.

The sci-tech instructors' educational innovation projects were divided into two categories – the cultivation of sci-tech instructors and the educational plans of sci-tech instructors.

On the final day of the competition, some participants presented works such as "Wristbands for Children's Safety", which offer solutions to real-world problems and showcase futuristic technological explorations. They were brimming with creative ideas.

The aim of the competition is to cultivate the innovative spirit and practical abilities of young people.

After over 20 years of continuous development, this event has become an important platform and brand activity for young sci-tech enthusiasts and sci-tech instructors in the city to showcase their innovative achievements.
