Guiyang and Guian support talent training

The Guiyang bureau of science and technology issued the "Notice on 2023 Application for Science and Technology Talent Development Program in Guiyang City and Guian New Area" on Oct 11, officially commencing the application process.

It has been reported that applicants for the program must meet certain criteria.

They must have worked full-time for at least one year at enterprises, research institutions, or research and development organizations located in Guiyang City or Guian New Area, and their age should not exceed 40. However, for female technological talent, the age limit is extended to 42.

Furthermore, applicants are required to have made significant contributions in areas such as technological innovation, research and development, application of sci-tech achievements, and industry-education-research integration.

Technological talent from central and provincial enterprises that have contributed to the economic development of Guiyang City and Guian New Area are also eligible to apply.

Individuals who have already been selected as provincial or municipal-level experts or high-level innovative young tech talents, or who are part of the Guiyang big data "ten-talent" and "hundred-talent" program, are not eligible to apply for this program.

A total of 150,000 yuan ($20,522) for a three-year training period will be provided to candidates selected for the program.

The application deadline for the program is 5 pm on Oct 24. All application materials must be submitted to the Project Management Department of Guiyang's Productivity Promotion Center.
