157 enterprises in Guiyang and Guian receive R&D funds

In order to encourage and guide enterprises to increase investment in research and development, the Guizhou Provincial Science and Technology Department introduced award and subsidy funds for the R&D activities of industrial enterprises above designated size this year.

A total of 157 industrial enterprises in Guiyang City and Guian New Area have received 73.4 million yuan ($10.05 million) in award and subsidy funds.

Meanwhile, fund recipients that increase their R&D input will be granted the title of "top 10 enterprises" or "high-quality enterprises" by the Guiyang government.

Moving forward, Guiyang City and Guian New Area will further use the subsidy funds to stimulate innovation among enterprises and increase productivity.
