The sixth plenary session of 17th Community Party of Guiyang has recently outlined the guiding principles and measures for advancing technological innovation in the city. The Guiyang bureau of science and technology will focus on six key areas to promote technological innovation.

Development of an Innovative City

To enhance the city's innovation ranking, the Guiyang bureau of science and technology will commit resources to research and development funding, supporting high-tech enterprises, promoting patent creation, and establishing technology enterprise incubators.

Growth of Industrial Innovation

The bureau will support the development of industrial centers for tech innovation to provide crucial services, drive innovation in key sectors such as mountainous agriculture, manufacturing, and services, and facilitate the upgrading of the industrial structure.

Cultivating Innovative Enterprises

By consolidating incubation resources and encouraging companies to establish specialized incubators, the bureau aims to provide facilities and technical services to foster the growth of high-tech enterprises.

Integration of Technological Platforms

Efforts will be made to integrate national, provincial, and municipal innovation platform resources, supporting the development of scientific and technological innovation centers in Guian New Area.
