Guiyang signs agreements with cities along Silk Road

At the annual meeting of cross-region innovation and cooperation from Aug 31 to Sept 1, the Guiyang bureau of science and technology signed cooperation agreements with the corresponding bureaus of Urumqi, Hangzhou, Dalian, Zhengzhou, Shijiazhuang, and Taiyuan. The bureaus also jointly issued the "Initiative of 2023 Silk Road Cross-region Innovation and Cooperation".

During the annual meeting, 21 cities in China signed 46 cross-regional innovation projects on industries and technologies, aiming for mutual promotion and win-win development. Some cities signed multiple cooperation projects with Kazakhstan as well.

The Guiyang bureau of science and technology participated in the cooperation as well. It signed a project cooperation agreement with an enterprise and promoted cooperation between the Guiyang Big Data Industry Technology Innovation Center and enterprises in Urumqi for project incubation.

The bureau will continue to integrate into the "Belt and Road" Initiative and strengthen scientific and technological cooperation with involved cities.

Additionally, scientific and technological cooperation among Guiyang and cooperating cities will be enhanced and the sci-tech resources of platforms and talents will be integrated among them, promoting the output of scientific and technological achievements.
