Guiyang issues vouchers to support sci-tech innovation

Guiyang on July 27 issued the "Guiyang and Guian New Area Science and Technology Innovation Vouchers Management Measures Trial" to help enterprises purchase services related to sci-tech innovation from service institutions.

The innovation vouchers are for enterprise consulting and other services. The maximum amount for consulting services for each enterprise is 5,000 yuan ($699) per year and the maximum support for other services is 50 percent of the approved contract amount. The maximum annual support for all services is 200,000 yuan per enterprise.

Since July 31, all qualified Guiyang and Guian sci-tech enterprises have been able to apply for sci-tech innovation vouchers on the WeChat account of the Guishangyi platform.

As an innovation policy, the innovation voucher is different from previous policies.

Enterprises can use the vouchers to directly offset the cost of sci-tech services, which reduces the cost of research and development for enterprises at the front end of services, makes it easier to promote cooperation between enterprises and service institutions, and is conducive to the accumulation of high-quality sci-tech resources.
