Guiyang sci-tech innovation contest opens for youth

After releasing its notice and rules, the Guiyang Youth Science and Technology Innovation Contest 2023 will be held from September to December.

The competition will be divided into two tracks: a youth track and a sci-tech counselor track.

Primary and secondary school students can apply for the former, with the entries divided into A and B categories. In principle, primary school students can only apply for category B projects. If they apply for those in Category A, they will follow the evaluation standards of middle school students.

The science and technology instructor track includes two categories: science and education production, and science and education programs.

According to the arrangement of the contest, entries can be declared from Sept 25 to Oct 13. Experts will be hired to conduct the initial evaluation of the projects in November. The final defense exhibition of the entries will be held in early December, and the list of winners will then be evaluated.

In the first and second quarters of 2024, Guiyang will recommend excellent projects to participate in the 2024 China Adolescent Science and Technology Innovation Contest.
