Guiyang bureau helps promote graduate employment

In order to promote the high-quality employment of college graduates, the Guiyang bureau of science and technology – located in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – has recently taken the initiative.

It joined forces with the Guizhou Aerospace Vocational and Technical College to organize an online jobs fair on June 14.

The event arranged for 35 companies – including Guiyang Bailer Dental Hospital Co, Guizhou Dazhong Rubber Co and Guizhou TRK Energy Technology Co – to participate.

A total of 822 jobs were offered to college graduates, covering computer numerical control operator positions, operations and maintenance engineers, human resources specialists, construction qualification consultants and other posts.

From 10 am to 12 am on that day, the recruitment companies also provided students with job promotions and other handy services, while the total number of online page views reached 11,700.

Graduates asked companies for information on recruitment requirements, job content, salaries and other information. Many were able to find suitable positions and send in their resumes online.
