Guiyang bureau aids in graduate employment, entrepreneurship

A Guizhou employment promotional event and graduate recruitment event were simultaneously held at Guizhou University of Finance and Economics and Guizhou Communications Polytechnic on March 27.

The two recruitment sites have set up special sections for public services and State-owned enterprises, technology and manufacturing industries, rural vitalization industries, and policy consultation.

A total of 26 companies in the technology and manufacturing sector participated in the recruitment activity, providing a total of 874 jobs.

In order to encourage graduates to find employment and engage in entrepreneurship, the Guiyang bureau of science and technology set up an exhibition area which displays the incubation chain for entrepreneurship projects and sci-tech enterprises, as well as entrepreneurship assessment, online sharing meeting, entrepreneurship salon and other year-round services for entrepreneurship.

Additionally, the exhibition area also set up a publicity spot, inviting undergraduates to participate in the 2023 Guiyang college student sci-tech innovation and entrepreneurship competition and organizing business mentors to guide students on site.

The 2023 competition – jointly organized by the Guiyang bureau of science and technology and the Guian bureau of economic development – was recently launched and will help more start-up teams take the first step in sci-tech entrepreneurship.
