Guiyang enterprise wins awards for intl standard projects

PowerChina Group recently announced the First Prize winners of the 2022 PowerChina Science and Technology Competition, in which two science and technology projects from the Sinohydro Bureau 9 Co in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, were on the list.

One project, which uses technology to construct paths for fish migration, adheres to the national policy of developing green prefabricated buildings. This project has a flow pattern that is better than the current design standard, which is conducive to fish migration.

This project has led to the development and innovation of technology used for fish migration. As it stands, this project is at an international standard, and has a high promotion and application value.

The second project is the Green Environmental Protection and Intelligence (GEPI) Key Technology application. It focuses on the preparation and quality-control of high-quality aggregate. It utilizes green and low-carbon methods, improves the utilization rate of mineral resources, as well as reduces the energy and water consumption of mining and preparation.

The China Aggregates Association has announced that this project has reached international leading levels for its scientific and technological achievements.

Correspondingly, a number of projects that have used this technology have also been named as demonstration projects for ecological environmental protection by relevant units and departments.

The high-quality aggregate project applies the technology in De'an county in Jiangxi province, with annual output of 9.8 million metric tons. [Photo/colorful Guizhou network]
