Guiyang zone strengthens high-tech enterprise cultivation

To boost its high-quality economic and social development, Guiyang Economic and Technology Industrial Development Zone recently doubled down on efforts to develop and promote high-tech enterprises and enterprises above designated size.

The zone is striving to become a science and technology innovation demonstration park in Guiyang, which has been designated as an "Innovation China" pilot city.

The zone has been focusing on key industries and is seeking to strengthen scientific and technological innovation. A cultivation base was established to cultivate high-tech enterprises in 2023, with 128 enterprises already operating in the base. The zone has also organized for enterprises to apply to become provincial "specialized, special and new" small and medium-sized enterprises in 2022, with eight enterprises such as Guiyang Aviation Motor Co winning the title.

Focusing on the incubation services provided by the innovation and entrepreneurship platform, the 2022 "Innovation China" Guiyang Technology Roadshow was held, promoting the integration of technological and capital elements, as well as helping enterprises boost innovation and industrial upgrading.

Additionally, focusing on key construction projects, the zone has implemented innovation-driven industrial breakthroughs. It has made plans for the national big data security shooting range (Phase I) construction project and promoted the Guiyang big data security shooting range Phase I improvement project.

The construction scheme of the Guiyang big data security shooting range Phase I project (Part II: Advanced System and Capacity Development) has passed expert review.
