Guiyang begins selecting innovative talent

Guizhou province recently began selecting its seventh group of high-level innovative talent and 14th group of outstanding young scientific and technological talent, and Guiyang organized the application work on Oct 19.

Applicants must be full-time employees of the applicant, and must apply through the Guizhou Provincial Science and Technology Business Integrated Management Information System. The system will automatically close at 6 pm on Nov 10, and the deadline for project application recommended by Guiyang is 5 pm on Oct 28.

For talent recommended by Guiyang selected as part of "Guizhou's dozens of talents" and "Guizhou's hundreds of talents", the provincial special fund for talent development will grant 1.5 million yuan ($206,989) and 1 million yuan to each person during the five-year training period.

At the same time, the Guiyang municipal human resources development fund will give a 1:1 matching subsidy to them according to the provincial funding amount within the five-year training period.

For talent recommended by Guiyang selected as part of "Guizhou's thousands of talents", 100,000 yuan in training and guidance funds will be given to each person during the five-year training period.

The provincial science and technology department will give 200,000-yuan-worth of training guidance funds to outstanding young scientific and technological talent in the province during the three-year training period.
