Guiyang selects 34 technology special commissioners to serve villages

The organization department of the Guiyang municipal Party committee and the Guiyang bureau of science and technology selected 34 science and technology special commissioners a few days ago to carry out agricultural science and technology services in rural areas of the city, further helping rural vitalization.

The commissioners' assignment is to ascertain agricultural science and technology demands in the whole city. They were recommended by the Guizhou Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the provincial academy of sciences, the Guiyang bureau of agriculture and rural affairs and other units.

Special commissioners are managed and deployed by districts and counties in a centralized manner so as to match the science and technology needs with the commissioners' specialties and to achieve full coverage of agricultural villages and towns in Guiyang.

The service time of the special commissioners is two years, and on-site service time is not to be less than 60 days each year.

They will carry out online and offline services for industrial technology guidance, introduce and promote a variety of technologies, and tackle technical bottlenecks, local talent training, agricultural industry function expansion, and science popularization.
