Construction of high-tech complex in Guiyang progresses

The main construction of the first phase of the Guiyang Science and Technology Innovation Industrial Complex – to be run by industrial park operator Liando U Valley, which is part of the Liando Group – was completed on Sept 22, with the exterior facade decorations and landscaping of the grounds entering the final stage.

The Liando Group is a company focused on industrial park operations, financial investments and template steel-structures. Liando U Valley has invested in over a raft of industrial park projects in multiple cities in China, including Beijing and Shanghai.

"The construction of the second phase of the project is now on the agenda," said Chen Liang, the executive in charge of the project.

He said that when completed, the complex would focus on the development of high-end manufacturing industries such as new materials, intelligent equipment, precision instruments and electronics information.

It will aim to create an urban industrial agglomeration that integrates functions such as manufacturing, commercializing technological breakthroughs and production support.

A leader in the field of operating national industrial parks, Liando U Valley has invested in and operates more than 400 industrial parks in 78 cities across the country and its parks are home to more than 13,000 emerging manufacturing enterprises and technology-based enterprises.

The Guiyang Science and Technology Innovation Industrial Complex is the first industrial park being laid out by Liando U Valley in Guiyang.

It is expected to provide an important impetus for the city to build iconic pillar industries such as equipment manufacturing, new materials and smart medical care – and to form upstream and downstream industrial clusters.
