Technological innovation spurs development of Guiyang, Guian

Guiyang and Guian New Area have implemented innovation-driven industrial upgrading, the agglomeration of scientific and technological innovation entities, and the optimization of innovation and entrepreneurship services in recent years.

Guiyang has accelerated the development of electronic information manufacturing, software and information technology services and built the brands of the China International Big Data Industry Expo, Big Data Science and Technology Innovation City, and National Big Data (Guizhou) Comprehensive Pilot Zone Exhibition Center.

In 2021, the Guiyang bureau of science and technology formulated the "Growth Roadmap for Technology-based Small and Medium-sized Enterprises" for the cultivation of high-tech enterprises and provided targeted cultivation services based on the needs of technology-based enterprises at different stages of development.

Statistics show that there were 87 contracted projects involved in the city's storage information transmission, software and information technology service industries last year, with a total investment of 7.21 billion yuan ($1.04 billion).

In addition, the city has promoted the digitization, networking and intelligent transformation of the real economy, as well as the empowerment of the real economy through big data.
