The kick-off meeting of the "Vice Presidents of Industrial Technological Innovation" of Guizhou province to serve the development of small and medium-sized enterprises was held at Guizhou University on Aug 16.

With the slogan "Strengthening the Empowerment of Technological Innovation and Promoting Industrial Transformation and Upgrading", the event aims to give full play to the leading role of technological innovation, enhance the innovation capabilities of small and medium-sized enterprises, and promote technological innovation, management innovation and business model innovation.

It was stated at the event that according to the technological innovation needs of enterprises, a group of doctoral teaching and research personnel with high professional standards and rich practical experience would be recruited from Guizhou University to serve as vice presidents of industrial technological innovation in the service scope enterprises and provide technical innovation guidance services free of charge.

He Shuying, who was representing the enterprises, said in her speech that this innovative measure would strengthen the connection between schools and enterprises and promote the integration of production, education and research, which would further promote the innovation and development of enterprises.

At the kick-off meeting, the signing ceremony for the innovative measures was also held, and letters of appointment were issued to the selected vice presidents. It has been reported that 76 lists of cooperation were reached at the event, involving eight industrial sectors including new energy materials.
