Laws of science, technology will be publicized

At the press conference for the 2022 Guizhou Science and Technology Activity Week recently held by the Provincial Government Information Office, Qin Shuijie, deputy director of the Guizhou Provincial Department of Science and Technology, introduced the event's highlights – namely the publicity of laws, regulations and policies concerning science and technology.

Southwest China's Guizhou province will focus on the theme of the event, widely publicize laws and regulations such as the Science and Technology Progress Law, Science and Technology Popularization Law, and various scientific and technological plans and policies.

The province will combine scientific and technological innovation with the public promotion of science and continue to promote awareness of the law to provide a solid legal guarantee for the promotion of scientific and technological progress in Guizhou.

Next, Guizhou will begin revising the Regulations on the Promotion of Science and Technology in Guizhou Province and jointly promote the gradual improvement of the management system for promoting science by promoting the implementation of laws, innovative system design, and coherent policy arrangements.

This will provide strong policy support for the revitalization of Guizhou through science and education, as well as for sustainable development and the enhancement of scientific and cultural awareness among residents.
