The Guiyang bureau of science and technology – based in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – recently signed a cooperation agreement with the Guizhou Science and Technology Information Research Institute, also located in the city, that is expected to yield major progress moving forwards.
Bureau director Jiang Fangju and institute chief Fan Yong signed the accord, while members of the Party group of the bureau, the deputy director of the institute and personnel from both sides witnessed the proceedings.
At the signing ceremony, both parties discussed scientific and technological innovation, especially Guiyang's work in the area.
Moving forwards, plans are for them to carry out strategic scientific and technological research and establish a mechanism for sharing sci-tech intelligence.
In addition, they will conduct research into major technological breakthroughs in the industry supply chain and the data integration of the "science and technology cloud".
They will also look into the joint construction of technology expert databases to boost the high-quality economic and social development of Guiyang.
