Guiyang supports high-tech enterprises make innovations

High-tech enterprises saw a rapid development in Guiyang, capital city of Guizhou province in recent years thanks to its good environment for scientific and technological innovation.

The number of high-tech enterprises in the city increased by 317.24 percent from 2016 to 2020, and always accounting for more than 60 percent of the total amount of Guizhou province. The city now has 1,210 high-tech enterprises, among which more than 300 are above a designated scale.

The Guiyang bureau of science and technology has been prioritizing the cultivation of high-tech enterprises by improving top-level design and issuing preferential policies to facilitate the agglomeration of scientific and technological innovation factors in terms of talent, technology, achievement and information.

In 2000, the bureau provided technical evaluation services for more than 100 enterprises on additional deduction before tax of research and development expenditure which reached to 708 million yuan ($11.15 million) of 507 projects. About 89.63 million yuan was delivered for 156 enterprises as subsidies for their R&D expenditure. The bureau also established cooperative working mechanism with relative departments to strengthen guidance and service for scientific research and high-tech service industry.

Daziran Technology Co is a Guiyang-based high-tech enterprise that benefited from the city's good environment for scientific and technological innovation. The company now owns over 60 patented invitations and has received several national and provincial rewards for the patents.
