Guiyang looks to cultivate sci-tech innovation entities

Guian New Area and Guiyang in Southwest China's Guizhou province will make efforts to cultivate scientific and technological innovation entities, according to the province's five-year action plan.

By 2025, a total of 30 new research and development institutions will be built, and the number of high-tech enterprises will exceed 2,000.

In addition, industrial enterprises above a designated size with R&D capabilities will account for more than 30 percent of the total number of industrial enterprises above a designated size in the two regions.
