Guizhou innovation competition semi-final for Guiyang, Guian division wraps up

The semi-final for the second Guizhou Science and Technology Innovation Competition (Guiyang and Guian division) was held on Aug 23 and 24, according to local media reports.

Hosted by the science and technology bureau of Guiyang, the Guiyang and Guian division had a total of 32 teams covering industries such as new energy, high-end equipment manufacturing, and new-generation information technology.

The event was conducted in the form of on-site roadshows. The roadshows were given on team structure, key technologies, product services, market analysis, profit models, and input and output. 

The event invited experts and scholars from various industries, university professors, officials of well-known enterprises, and representatives of financial institutions to serve as professional reviewers and score each participating project on-site, and provide feedback.

In addition to receiving bonuses, the winning projects will be given priority to get support for innovation and entrepreneurship according to the related policies in the province.
