Guiyang discusses to promote research input

The science and technology bureau of Guiyang city held a meeting on Aug 13 to analyze the city's research input this year and clarify the following work.

Related officials from the Department of Science and Technology of Guizhou Province and Guiyang's industry and information bureau, State-owned assets supervision and administration commission, statistics bureau, and tax bureau also took part in the meeting and exchanged opinions about dealing with current difficulties, promoting training and strengthening innovation.

Pan Wenfu, associate professor from Guizhou University of Finance and Economics, analyzed the current situation of research input in terms of input goals, how to carry out work and coordinated effect.

Zhang Yu, head of the science and technology bureau, addressed the meeting by emphasizing the importance of training guidance and coordinated cooperation to achieve the phased goal of research and development investment reaching 2.3 percent in 2022.

The meeting proposed that related departments should strengthen cooperation, master the changing information of research input and deal with problems in an innovative way to make a significant contribution to the city and the province's development.
