Guiyang learns about agricultural machinery industry in Chongqing

Members from the Guiyang Bureau of Science and Technology in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, surveyed the development of the mountain agricultural machinery industry in Chongqing from May 10 to 11, aiming to learn from the municipality's development experience and attract investment.

The members were from the bureau's "applying science and technology to help rural revitalization" workgroup. Representatives from universities, companies and industry associations from Guiyang also participated in the survey.

They visited three companies in Chongqing and held discussions with representatives of Chongqing's science and technology bureau and the Chongqing Society for Agricultural Machinery. The goal was to obtain knowledge of Chongqing's experiences and practices in the development of mountain agricultural machinery and equipment.

During the two-day visit, they exchanged views with company representatives on the industrial development status, investment environment, resource advantages, preferential policies and other aspects. They also invited companies to invest and establish branches, R&D centers, production workshops, sales centers and achievement transformation centers in Guiyang.

The visit aimed to promote the mountain agricultural machinery industry in Guiyang and support rural revitalization via sci-tech innovation.
