Government delegation visits company in Guiyang high-tech zone

A delegation led by Zhang Yu, head of the Guiyang Bureau of Science and Technology, visited PIX Moving, a company based at the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, on Jan 14.

They visited the company's digital manufacturing factory to learn about its production, research and development and operations.

Representatives from the company held a meeting with the delegation, briefing the company's development in technological research and advantages, operations, industry applications, market prospects and more.

A video conference was also held to introduce the application of the company's products in Europe and North America.

PIX is a global autonomous driving startup dedicated to creating a sustainable smart city. It has bases in Guiyang and the United States.

The company's core products include self-driving chassis, self-driving disinfection vehicles, sightseeing vehicles, logistics vehicles and retail vehicles. It can also customize various unmanned vehicles.

Since April 2020, the company has provided 23 independently developed and manufactured autonomous driving products to seven countries and 11 industries, with operating income exceeding 50 million yuan ($7.74 million).

Zhang said that the science and technology bureau would continue to support the company's R&D and help it accelerate the construction of R&D centers, attract high-end professionals and push forward innovation.
