Shizi Street selected as provincial-level night-time consumption gathering area

The Guizhou Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism recently announced the fourth batch of provincial-level night-time cultural and tourism consumption gathering areas. Among the eight scenic spots, two are in Guiyang, capital of the province, namely Shizi Street in Huaxi district and Cao Zhuangyuan Street in Nanming district.

Shizi Street nearby Huaxi Park is the district's traditional business center. In recent years, the district has vigorously promoted the new urbanization and renovation of the street, aiming to upgrade it into a place that is great for living, traveling and working.

In terms of the renovation work, based on the night-time consumption demands of young people, the street introduced facilities such as coffee shops, bookstores and fast-food restaurants. In particular, the ultra-high-resolution naked-eye 3D giant screen in the center of the block as well as the nine alleys with their own characteristics have injected newfound vitality into the area.
