Guizhou Mountain Hero Challenge event kicks off in Huaxi

The first Beijing Off-road Vehicle Guizhou Mountain Hero Challenge event of 2023 kicked off in the Auto Trade City of Mengguan township, Huaxi district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on July 8, attracting 22 teams from across the country.

The event was organized by the tourism and culture bureau and the business and investment promotion bureau of Huaxi district, as well as other related departments.

The racetrack for this event featured various obstacle challenges, including "straight line, four peaks, double humps, big hump, flying car hump, U-turn, S-turn, and water pits." Each off-road vehicle racing on the track needed to compete in the "three large laps and one small lap" of the rally, and the competition took place in pairs.

In the next step, Mengguan township will leverage its local automobile culture and ethnic cultural characteristics by organizing "tourism + sports" branded events, allowing tourists to further experience the development achievements of the Auto Trade City, immerse themselves in the ethnic culture, and enjoy the beauty of the township.
